To be honest I thought this will be a bit to hard for them but nothing further from the truth! Coding is an excellent way for developing your own interactive stories, animations, and games. In the process, the kids learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively, essential skills for everyone in today’s society.
What captured my attention was MIT and their programing language called Scratch. Scratch is designed and maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab.
We observed our children (who are obsessed with LEGO) how easy and natural got into the logical process of Scratch. Even if they are not use to logical thinking they will be captivated and a new universe opened for them to explore. Not to mention they can share the work with everyone, get inspired and watch tutorials with a simple click…
